This magnificent 3-handled urn is completely handmade and handpainted in Tuscany. The pomegranites and leaves, depicted in alto relieva or high relief, in progressing stages of growth, are all formed by hand and attached to form the intricate surface across the body of all sides of the urn. The varied texture and glaze effects achieved by these Tuscan artisans are in a class of their own, and take this decorative piece to the level of high art.
